§00Changelog
Every version, and what it changed for you.
63 releases since 25 Jul 2026. Breaking changes say what to do about them, and a version that rebuilds your index says so at the top.
Archis updates itself: chi update checks what is published, verifies the release hash before writing anything, and puts the previous binary back if the new one does not start. chi update --check installs nothing.

0.36.1
The Archis release you can actually install.
Before you upgrade — macOS and Linux:
curl -fsSL https://archis.dev/install.sh | sh. This release has no Windows build — 0.35.0 remains the newest one for Windows, and that is what Windows is offered.- ImprovedA release that does not include your platform leaves you on the newest one that does, instead of answering "nothing is published". Before, a release built for some platforms and not others made
chi updatereport that there was no release at all — for people whose installed version was still perfectly published. - FixedThe one-line installer installs Archis. It was still looking for the old binary inside the archive and asking the old address for the manifest, so on 0.36.0 it either found nothing to install or could not reach us at all. Installing and uninstalling both work from archis.dev, and the uninstaller removes what this version writes rather than what the previous one did.
- FixedThe site is Archis throughout and lives at archis.dev: the command reference is generated from this release rather than from the old binary, and no page prints an install command pointing at an address that no longer answers. There is also a file agents can be pointed at — archis.dev/skill.md — that tells them how to install Archis, connect it to the harness they are running in, and then use it.
- ImprovedA release that does not include your platform leaves you on the newest one that does, instead of answering "nothing is published". Before, a release built for some platforms and not others made
